Melanie Miller has been involved in dog training since 1996, training specifically in agility since 1998. Her background includes a degree in Chemical Engineering, and she also works as a Project Manager at SAS. She has 3 dogs: Cole, a Cocker Spaniel; Austin, a Vizsla, and Regan, a Border Collie. During his brief career, Cole easily earned 12 titles with numerous placements, and was know for his ever wagging tail, his unabashed enthusiasm, and his brilliant speed. Cole has recently entered the Rally Obedience ring, earning his RN in 3 days at 11 years young! |

| Austin has taught Melanie many lessons in patience, motivation, and drive, and has blossomed into a quick, accurate, and driven partner. He has earned his MX, MXJ, and ADCH titles. He completed 2005 as #1 Vizsla in USDAA's Top Ten Tournament Points. He owns the Vizsla breed record for the Cleanrun 60 Weave Pole Challenge with a respectable time of 16.39 sec. At the 2006 USDAA National Championships, Austin placed 32nd in the very competitive 26" Grand Prix Semifinals. Also in 2006, Austin won the 24" Standard and JWW classes at the Vizsla Club of America National Breed Specialty. |

Regan, 3 years old, has just begun competing. Her lessons for Melanie include "never say never", and letting go of set agendas. She is working to overcome anxiety in crowded settings. Regan has made tremendous progress and she has a bright future ahead of her.
Melanie has spent 1000's of hours learning from the best in dog training and dog agility. She has traveled up and down the East Coast, learning the very latest in handling, dog training, and jumping techniques. She has the unique ability to absorb information and pass it along to her students in a friendly, motivational way.
Melanie is available for private lessons, group classes, workshops and seminars on a variety of topics. |
